Zach is a Site Foreman with Danrae, and he carries out waterproofing and carpentry. “Not many of us do just waterproofing. We have all background skills we can use.”
And for Zach, that’s carpentry. “I was a carpenter for ten years, then diverted into remedial carpentry, and then I came across Danrae.”
Pitching for perfection
When he’s not at work, Zach spends time with his family, and can often be found playing baseball with his three children.
“I used to play in teams myself and I introduced it to my kids. The eldest was a natural, and he’s now in the Australian under-12s team and touring to Japan.”
Family all round
Zac likes the family feel at Danrae, too. “I like the whole environment. There’s a lot of understanding, and they are willing to work with you. It’s a good team here.”
